Youth Councillor Vacancy
Standing Order 27.
YOUTH REPRESENTATIVES
Up to two youth representatives (aged 15 to 25) can be appointed to join the Council to represent the interests of young people. (Reference the Local Government (Wales) Measure 2011).
We currently have a vacancy for this role and if you are aged between 16 and 25 and are interested in finding out more then please read on.
Our Meetings
The Council meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7.15pm – excluding December. Meetings are held in person at Siloam Chapel school room in Killay and virtually via zoom. They finish at around 9pm and are open to the public. Our meetings are also attended by local City Councillors.

Who Can Apply?
Youth Reps must be aged between 15 – 25. You must be able to represent the interests of people under the age of 26 who live, work, train or receive education in the area.
