Mary Jones first joined Killay Community Council in 1992 and served until April 2015. She was chair of the council from 1998 until April 2013.

(Mary continued to attend meetings between 2015 and 2024 in her capacity as city councillor)

Mary rejoined Killay Community Council in April 2024

She is Vice Chair of the council and also serves on the Finance committee and the Publicity committee
