Community Resources – Killay and Dunvant
We often see queries on social media asking what there is to do in the area – perhaps because someone is new to the Ward, or maybe because someone has retired, become a new parent or for any other reason is looking for things to do and/or ways to get out and socialise.
We don’t have the capacity to maintain an up-to-date schedule of everything that is happening in the area, but this short guide to local organisations in Killay and the wider area indicates where activities are often delivered and where you can find out more.
The community Facebook page: Dunvant and Killay Community is a great place to keep in touch with what’s happening in your area.
And don’t forget to follow Killay Community Council’s Facebook page too for updates on our events and important local news
A great place to find out what’s on in Swansea as well as in the local area is this page on Swansea Council’s website: Living and ageing well – Swansea. You will find information for walking groups, events, Lifelong Learning courses and locations, parks, community centres, community transport, bus times, what’s on for active older people … and much more.
We have also included a section below on where you can find general advice and support if you have children, are a carer or are an older person.
